Holger Speckhahn was born in Peine. His career as a television host began in 1997 at MTV. Subsequently, he hosted the show "Top of the Pops" on RTL from 1998 and on Sat.1 from 1999 to 2001, where he presented shows like "Jeder gegen Jeden" and "Das Inselduell." As an actor, he made his feature film debut in the hit movie "Anatomy."
He then portrayed the "Hunchback of Soho" in the crime comedy "Der Wixxer," which was released in 2004. In 2010, Holger Speckhahn participated in the cooking show "Das perfekte Promi-Dinner" and emerged as the winner.
From 2012 to 2016, he served as the host of the "Servus Hockey Night" for the DEL division on the Austrian channel Servus TV. Since March 2017, he has been hosting the show "Nachspielzeit," in which he discusses football matches of FC Bayern Munich with sports experts. Since 2018, he has been an integral part of the Magenta Sport team, hosting broadcasts of the 1st league ice hockey, Euroleague basketball, and football matches of the 3rd Bundesliga. Holger Speckhahn has established himself as a versatile television host and actor in the German entertainment industry.
